At Blue Planet Chocolate, we have created a Delta 8 chocolate bar which is felt within 5-10 minutes and can last for four to six hours.

*The onset of edibles has often been an issue with consumers eating more than they should because they don’t feel the effects right away. So, eating a second piece before the first piece has kicked in can cause an uncomfortable outcome. Quick onset would alleviate much of this issue.

How does it work? We have combined nano emulsified cannabis with standard sized cannabis oil molecules to create a product that takes effect quickly, is very potent and has the longevity of a standard edible product. Combined with our pure chocolate, the Nano + Chocolate bar tastes great, with quick delivery and lasting effects.

What are Nano Emulsified Particles? Nano particles refer to molecules that have been reduced to over one millionth of their original size in order to increase bioavailability and subsequent bioactivity within the body’s systems and anatomy. Because of the tiny size, they are absorbed easily under the tongue and in mouth increasing it’s quick onset. Increased absorbtion in the stomach also increases the efficacy of the nano emulsified cannabis particles.

Is there a taste? Yes. During the process to break down the CBD or THC molecules into their tiny size, there is some residual bitterness from the cannabis. However, at Blue Planet Chocolate, all of our products are made with the finest cacao and ingredients making any noticeable taste minor with the intense flavor of chocolate leading the way.

Delta 8 THC, like CBD, is one of over 100 cannabinoids present in cannabis/hemp plants.

Does Delta-8 have an intoxicating effect? Yes, it does. Much like its cousin Delta 9 THC (marijuana), it is similar. The two most well-known cannabinoids are THC (delta 9) which gets you high, and CBD which does NOT get you high. Delta-8 is somewhere in between. Most will report it has intoxicating effects like marijuana (delta-9), but not as intense.

Not everyone will feel the same. Depending on your size, the amount you take, and familiarity with cannabis products, people can and will have different experiences. Start small and allow at least an hour to see how it makes you feel. The dose can always be increased.

Both are intoxicating, but delta-8 is best described as having half the potency of delta-9 THC. Many people claim that delta-8 is a smoother, less anxious psychoactive experience than delta-9. It also seems to have additional medicinal effects than regular THC, such as pain relief, however, these claims have not been weighed out in clinical trials.

This cannabinoid ha.s also been shown to help regulate the immune system and works to relieve pain and inflammation cause by several conditions, including arthritis and Crohn’s disease.
