ARE ALL CBD PRODUCTS THE SAME?
No, there are a variety of differences between products.
Some companies use Isolate (pure CBD) which is preferred by those who are worried about passing a drug test. However pure CBD isolate strips away all other compounds you find in full spectrum oil, which decreases the effectiveness of the product.
Many companies use Full-spectrum oil derived from hemp. Full-spectrum oil is rich in a wide variety of other cannabinoids (CBV, CBG, CBC, CBN etc...) that come along side CBD for added benefits. This is preferred by individuals looking for an effective alternative to modern medicine.
With that said let's go to another depth about full spectrum oil. Just because one oil works/doesn’t work for you doesn’t mean another companies oil might not work/work for you. Here is why, the strain of hemp that is grown and extracted plays a huge part in the finished product. Every strain carries different cannabinoids along with CBD. Some may have CBG and CBN but not contain CBC and CBV vica versa. These cannabinoids play a role in the effectiveness of the product to specific needs.
For example, CBN is believed to be an anti-convulsant, so if you are using a CBD product for seizures that does not contain CBN as well as CBD it won’t be as effective as a tincture that does contain CBN. It is important to know all the compounds that are in the tincture your taking. It is also important for the companies you are receiving the product from to be consistent in the product they sell.
WHAT ARE CANNABINOIDS?
Cannabinoids are common throughout plants and found in higher concentration in Echinacea, flowering grasses, and even liverworts. β-caryophyllene is one example of a dietary cannabinoid found in foods such as oregano, cinnamon, and black pepper which act on the CB2 receptor.
Such compounds have been shown to inhibit inflammation and lessen water retention, have antimicrobial effects, and play a protective role in many liver processes. Cannabinoids have been described as a potential target for the treatment of atherosclerosis and osteoporosis. In the gastrointestinal tract cannabinoids have been shown to play a significant role in reducing inflammation. Consequently, such cannabinoids (which have no psychoactive activity) are potential drug candidates for the treatment of a range of different diseases.
Hepatic ischemia-reperfusion injury

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HEMP & MARIJUANA?
Scientifically, industrial Hemp and Marijuana are the same plant, with a genus and species name of Cannabis Sativa. They have a drastically different genetic profile though. Industrial Hemp is always a strain of Cannabis sativa, while marijuana can be Cannabis sativa, Cannabis Indica, or Cannabis ruderalis. The major difference is how industrial hemp has been bred compared to a marijuana form of Cannabis sativa. Typically speaking, industrial hemp is very fibrous, with long strong stalks, and barely has any flowering buds, while a marijuana strain of Cannabis sativa will be smaller, bushier, and full of flowering buds. However, newer industrial hemp varieties in the USA are being bred to have more flowers and higher yields of cannabinoids and terpenes, such as our Oregon's hemp we’re now using!
99% of the time marijuana has a high amount of THC and only a very low amount of CBD. Hemp, on the other hand, naturally has a very high amount of CBD in most instances, and only a trace amount of THC. Fortunately, the cannabinoid profile of hemp is ideal for people looking for benefits from cannabis without the ‘high.’ Hemp is used for making herbal supplements, food, fiber, rope, paper, bricks, oil, natural plastic, and so much more, whereas marijuana is usually used just recreationally, spiritually, and medicinally. The term cannabis oil can refer to either a marijuana or hemp derived oil, since marijuana and hemp are two different forms of cannabis.
In the USA the legal definition of “industrial hemp,” per Section 7606 of the Agricultural Appropriations Act of 2014, is “INDUSTRIAL HEMP — The term ‘‘industrial hemp’’ means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and any part of such plant, whether growing or not, with a delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry weight basis.”
IS CBD OIL LEGAL?
There is no need for a prescription or medical card to purchase hemp CBD. It is a natural constituent of the high CBD Hemp strains of the plant containing very low levels of THC. Having only trace amounts of THC, our hemp CBD oil is non-psychoactive and legal in all 50 states.
CBD Oil/Hemp Oil and other hemp products are food-based. As such, there are no restrictions on the production, sale and consumption of hemp oil in the United States. CBD has no psychoactive function, meaning it causes no impairment or inebriation. Children with seizure disorders are the most noted group to utilize the neuroprotective and restorative properties of CBD. Currently, GW Pharmaceuticals seeks FDA-approval for a medicine from plant-derived cannabis compounds. Epidiolex, a CBD oral solution, could be prescribed later this year to patients with rare epilepsy conditions.
